There are a lot of other people that help me make my guide trips a success. At Hawgeyes Guide Service, we have a network of anglers and guides that work together to keep everyone on the water and catching fish. Green Bay and Lake Michigan are big waters and it is hard for one person to cover it all. We have found that working together has helped all of us learn new techniques and catch more fish. Here are some of the faces that help me to be successful.

Bob Claus (AKA Finfanatic): Bob is not only my tournament partner for the SWC tournament circuit, he is also a USCG and state licensed guide. Bob is truly a multi-species angler. Whether he is chasing Rainbows in Door County streams, trolling for Green Bay Walleyes, pitching tube jigs for Small Mouth Bass of Chambers Island or slammin' some Salmon on Lake Michigan, he is always a great guy to fish with.

Jake Zipperer (AKA Zip): Jake is a seasoned Walleye fisherman, but his true passion is fishing for monster gators! Zip lives to fish for Muskies and monster Northern Pike. When it comes to catching trophy Pike on the ice, Zip is awesome. I have learned a great deal from Zip and he is always entertaining to fish with.

JJ Malvitz (AKA Little Sturgeon): JJ has grown up in Door County and runs an ice fishing guide service for Whitefish. He is on the Frabill pro staff and has been featured on the Midwest Outdoors. JJ is a hard water guru, but loves to chase Walleyes during the open water season.
|
Heather (AKA "the wife"): While Heather doesn't fish with Hawgeyes as much as she used to now that we have an angler-in-training (Easton, age 2), she allows the Captain a lot of time on the water to hone his skills. However, you can find her ready to have a few beers with you after you get off of the water!

Terry Wiensch (AKA Fishnbear): Terry guides for bear in Minnesota, mule deer and antelope in Montana, and trophy Pike in Manitoba. When his not busy with all that, Terry is on the waters of Door County fishing for Walleyes and Perch.
|
Brad Korth (AKA Team Lund): Brad is an experienced tournament angler and a Lund pro staff member. Brad is a Walleye hunter extreme. Winnebago, Poygan, the Wolf river, and Green Bay are some of the bodies of water that Brad fishes. He invented the trolling technique we call the Bradliminator. My biggest Walleye to date was caught in his boat on a Bradliminator rig.
